Feel Settled

Privacy policy

In short

Who we are

Feel Settled is made by ON DEMAND REPORTING LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 05990964. Registered office: Office Suite 3, Shrieves Walk, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6GJ.

For anything to do with privacy, email hello@feelsettled.co.uk. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean ON DEMAND REPORTING LIMITED.

The Feel Settled app

What you record

The app lets you record what you eat and drink, how you feel (for example stomach symptoms, mood, anxiety and tiredness), toilet visits, sleep, and any notes you add. Some of this is information about your health, so we’ve designed the app to keep it private.

Where it’s stored

Everything you record is stored only on your phone, inside the app’s own storage. We don’t run servers for the app, you don’t create an account, and we never see, receive or store your diary.

No tracking, advertising or analytics

The app doesn’t contain advertising, and it doesn’t use analytics or tracking tools. It doesn’t ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

When you share or export

The app can create a file from your diary (a readable summary, a data file, or a complete copy) so that you can share it. Sharing only happens when you choose to, using your phone’s normal sharing options, such as email, messaging apps, cloud storage or an AI assistant.

Once you’ve shared a file, it’s handled by the person or service you sent it to, under their own privacy policy. Please think about who you share your health information with, and check how any service you use, including AI assistants, handles what you give it.

Phone backups

Depending on your phone’s settings, your phone’s own backup service (for example Google’s Android backup) may include app data, including your diary, in the backup of your device. That backup is controlled by you and your phone’s provider, not by us. You can change this in your phone’s backup settings.

Deleting your information

You can delete individual entries in the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything it has stored on your phone. Any files you exported or shared, and any phone backups, are separate and need to be deleted wherever you keep them.

App stores

You download Feel Settled through Google Play (and, in future, Apple’s App Store). Those stores process information about your download and your account under their own privacy policies. They may give us general statistics, such as the number of installs or anonymous crash reports, but never the contents of your diary.

This website

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it doesn’t load anything from other companies. The “Notify me” form is handled on our own web hosting. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as the IP address of a visitor, the page requested and the time) for a short period to keep the site running securely.

If you ask to be notified, or email us

If you enter your email address in the “Notify me” form on this website, it’s sent to our Feel Settled inbox by email. It isn’t stored on the website or in any database. If you email us directly, we receive your message in the same way.

We’ll use your email address only to let you know when Feel Settled is available and to reply to anything you’ve asked. We won’t share your details with anyone else or use them for anything else.

We keep these emails only for as long as we need them: if you asked to hear about the launch, we delete your address after we’ve told you, unless you ask to keep hearing from us. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Our legal basis for this is your consent (when you ask to hear from us) and our legitimate interest in replying to messages people send us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. Because your diary never reaches us, these rights mainly apply to emails you’ve sent us. Contact hello@feelsettled.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Children

Feel Settled is intended for adults. It isn’t designed for children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app or website handles information, for example if we add optional features that store data online, we’ll update this policy and the date at the top before the change takes effect. Significant changes will also be explained in the app.
